This Fall, MMB Online offers three specialized and completely practical courses on medieval singing. These courses (three levels). offer participants historically-appropriate vocal and performative tools to sing some of the most important vocal repertoires of the Middle Ages. The three courses are:
This course explores the poetry and music of Hildegard's sacred songs and perform several pieces from her 𝑆𝑦𝑚𝑝ℎ𝑜𝑛𝑖𝑎 𝑎𝑟𝑚𝑜𝑛𝑖𝑒 𝑐𝑒𝑙𝑒𝑠𝑡𝑖𝑢𝑚 𝑟𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑙𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛𝑢𝑚.

In this course, performers will Study and perform pieces from the Codex Buranus and become familiar with other related medieval monophonic repertoires.
